The Virginia City Boosters Club is a group of parents and sponsors that aim to make sure our student athletes have what they need to play sports at Virginia City High School

OUR PURPOSE

1)  To encourage excellence in athletic endeavors undertaken by our students.

2)   To foster sportsmanship, cooperation, and good citizenship in our athletes.

3)   To encourage lifelong appreciation for athletics.

4)   To boost parent and community support for school-based sports.

 

OUR OBJECTIVES

1)  To raise funds for the support and maintenance of the Boosters’ stated purposes.

2)  To provide those funds in support and assistance to our school athletes.

3)   To stimulate community interest and participation in the athletic programs of Storey County schools.

4)  To coordinate with other community and school organizations toward common extracurricular goals.

OUR POLICIES

1)  This organization is non-profit, non-commercial, non-sectarian, and non- partisan. 

2)  This organization is composed of parent and community volunteers.

3)  This organization shall cooperate with the school authorities to support the athletic programs in

     ways that will not interfere with the official administration of the athletic programs of the schools. 

4)  The assets of this organization shall be dedicated to the attainment of the objectives of the Virginia City           Boosters as stated in these bylaws, and will be used only for such purposes.
